Board of Trustees January Update
Happy New Year!
As we begin 2026, we wish all our school families a very happy and healthy year. We remain grateful for your support of Catholic Education and each of our schools.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. 2 Corinthians 5:17
Patron Saint
After collecting suggestions, narrowing the choices, and reviewing feedback, we were pleased to formally recognize a Patron Saint for the Regina Catholic School Division, just as all of our schools have. Holy Mary, Mother of God is the Saint we will pray to as a school division, and as staff working for the division from the Catholic Education Centre. We ask Mother Mary to pray for us individually, for our families and for our school communities as we begin a new calendar year.
Semester One Ends
This month marks the fifth and final month of Semester One for our high schools. As students prepare for their final exams, we keep them in our prayers. Studying is hard work, and we commend their dedication and perseverance. May they find focus, confidence, and calm as they review what they’ve learned and demonstrate their knowledge.
Registration Begins
This month also marks the beginning of our preparation for the 2026-2027 school year. Registration is now open for new Kindergarten students. If your child was born in the calendar year 2021, we look forward to welcoming them to Kindergarten in the fall of this year. If you have a child who will be three or four years old by September, they might be able to join us for PreK. Please visit our website for more details.
