SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
Scholarships and bursaries are available from a variety of sources including clubs, organizations, universities and technical institutes. The number of awards a student is eligible for depends upon a variety of factors. For example, some scholarships are based on academic excellence, while others may be awarded based on talent and/or community or school or parish involvement, or all of the above.
When applications become available, information will be posted. Students are encouraged to explore additional sources for scholarship monies. Check the following website for potential scholarships and see the attached PDF under the ‘Scholarship List’.

Miller Comprehensive Catholic High School Student Leadership Awards
The Grade 12 leadership awards, scholarships and bursaries are selected by the Miller Staff. In order for students to be considered for one or more of these awards it is helpful to have a good deal of information on the students who may fit certain award criteria. These awards are presented at Graduation Exercises.
If you feel that in the past four years (do not include elementary school involvement) you have had involvement in some or all of the areas listed below, please fill out the Office 365 Form below. Treat this as you would a scholarship application.
Opens March 31st, 2025 and closes May 21st, 2025.
Exclusive to Miller: Allan and Darlene Exner Scholarships (6 at $1250). Applications are due - May 21st
A minimum of 2 of the 6 scholarships will be awarded to recipients enrolled in a trades or apprenticeship program and a minimum of 2 of the 6 scholarships will be awarded to graduates who are self-declared Indigenous Students. Click on the link provided to begin the application process.

Degree Program Scholarship: $2,500
Technical/Trade Program Scholarship: $2,500
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of demonstrated good character, community leadership, financial need, and a 500-word essay. The application deadline is Aug. 31 each year. Please note: when applying for scholarships, deadlines are non-negotiable. If transcripts or references are required, remember that it takes time for others to process your requests. Also, be aware that if you must mail documents, it will take 2 to 3 days for your application to reach its destination.
